Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers urges Trump to call off Kenosha visit

Of course he does. As reported in the NY Post.
Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers urged President Trump to call off his trip to Kenosha this week — fearing the president’s visit to the city will “only hinder our healing.”

The governor made the plea in a Sunday letter, portraying Kenosha — where Jacob Blake, 29, was shot seven times by police on Aug. 23 — as a divided community that’s already on the mend.

“I, along with other community leaders who have reached out, are concerned about what your presence will mean for Kenosha and our state,” Evers wrote in his letter.

“I am concerned your presence will only hinder our healing. I am concerned your presence will only delay our work to overcome division and move forward together.”

The governor added: “It is our job as elected officials to lead by example and to be a calming presence for the people we know are hurting, mourning, and trying to cope with trauma. Now is not the time for divisiveness.”

Evers also voiced concern over the possibility that Trump’s trip would cause the reallocation of authorities in the city.
Now that the Democrats have decided to condemn riots and looting, they've also got to blame someone else for it. Portland's stupid mayor is a class act.

Scapegoats are one thing that the left creates more reliably than dependency and misery.

I was stunned when he beat Walker. Wisconsin is getting what they deserve.

Yep. I feel that way about NY at times.

The dangedest thing I saw today was this little screed posted, without attribution, on another site:
      Facts-

-crime is up under this current Republican President.

-More Americans are dead from Covid 19 that all soldiers deaths since the Korean War combined.

-Americans are more divided under this Republican President’s leadership

-1 out of 6 small businesses are out of business under this current Republican leader.

-If the Republican President is re-elected and his proposal to cut payroll taxes is put in place, Social Security will be completely depleted by the year 2024

-All Democrats including Presidential candidate Biden have called for the violence and rioting to stop, to arrest and prosecute those who are breaking the law and have called for this President to stop his efforts to encourage strife.

The police are arresting people who commit these crimes, and they will continue.

Democrats want the violence to stop and continue to encourage the police to make their arrests for law breakers.

It's Monday, and apparently all the Dem got the memo. I guess "it's a myth" didn't work.

There is no reality here. It's the most flagrant work of fiction masquerading as principle I've ever seen by a major Party.

I'd ask this: If, as this jaw-dropping hallucination suggests, if Democrats have been of one voice working to end the violence, arrest and prosecute law breakers, yada yada, why is it that the conspicuous failures to do so are in areas exclusively managed by Democrats?

And if they are such abject failures at protecting their constituents, shouldn't they be replaced? Isn't that what should happen after such a demonstration of incompetence?

Ah, but that would be believing what we see, and that has no place in the Democratic paradigm.

Paradigm. Really? Parody, more like it. A parody of reality.

What really fries my ass with Evers is that he threw the cop under the bus without knowing any facts at all about what happened.

              Whatadick.

So, nothing happened. Or nothing any different than what's been going on anyway.

I think all the 'fear and loathing' is mostly a self-generated emotional script written and hosted by mentally impaired people who would be better served by therapy instead of arson.
