    ABOUT DAMN TIME!

    One point for the old folks! If the idiot DA in SF won't let the police take out the garbage, the people have to defend themselves.

    SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — An elderly woman being attacked on Market Street in San Francisco Wednesday – the latest victim in a wave of attacks on Asians in the Bay Area – turned the tables on her assailant, leaving him with injuries that required a trip to the hospital.

    The incident happened at Market St. and Charles J. Brenham Place near McAllister St. at around 10:30 a.m. San Francisco police said they are investigating an aggravated assault by a man who appears to be in his 30s on a 70-year-old woman.
    I'm surprised they didn't charge her for fighting back. If she had had a real weapon instead of a stick, they would have.

          My guess would be that this was one of the feral people being allowed to take over SF because the do-gooders elected a DA who refuses to prosecute "quality of life crimes," meaning any crime committed by a street-dweller.

                  Discussion is in progress as to the limits of the bill related to size and girth.

                  These discussions range from toothpick to larger and girth from 1/2 inch and upwards.

                      Someday it will illegal for non-BIPOCs to appear in public with a closed fist. London may lead the way on that offensive.

                      Your description of stick-as-weapon dimensions suggests bringing back the apocryphal (and likely false) English rule that husbands were allowed to beat their wives with sticks smaller in diameter than a thumb, before a 10 p.m. cut-off.

                      Speaking of ridiculous things, we're going to have to bring back the mixed race delineations we used in Jim Crow days. We've mocked that stuff for decades, but if we're going to parcel farm aid and justice according to intersectionality, we'll need to quantify octoroons, quadroons, and such, and much more.

                              Must be my automation background, but every time I see BIPOC, I think of some android automaton answering a door with coffee and chocolate chip cookies.

                              Granted, many of those that confer the designation upon themselves or others do somewhat fit the assumed definition.

                                          Thank goodness he survived. My BF's Uncle Mike lived on Capitol Hill. He was walking from the car to the house when he was struck from behind and pushed into an empty lot. He ame up with a board and killed his attacker. While he suffered no criminal penalties he never got over it.
