I started on Conservative Underground. That led to the Red leather Couch and then Neutral Underground. Which led to here. I was also on another conservative site for a bit whose name I forget but I think 80z was on there as well. I think I actually was on Liberal Underground first but was banned fairly quickly.
How did you get here?

Pretty much the same, except also spent time on USMB, PI, and a few of the splinter boards.Originally posted by phillygirl View PostI started on Conservative Underground. The irony was the the guy "Rat" was hated on CU and he's the one who introduced me to that board. Before then I was only doing stuff in Yahoo groups and the board for the Alligator, my college newspaper."Faith is nothing but a firm assent of the mind : which, if it be regulated, as is our duty, cannot be afforded to anything but upon good reason, and so cannot be opposite to it."

Until I got here, I really never was a member of a conservative forum. Started out at liberal forum, which was bought out by someone who changed the format. Then, a few members of that forum started OnTheLeft, and I moved there.
I know what I believed. I wanted to test my beliefs against theirs.

One of the first political type forums was Ann Coulter's, which I was permabanned after calling a mod something he did not agree.
Then it was CU which I departed after PG left and Snaps quit posting. Then on to here.
I was on DU for about 20 minutes and think I still have access to Conservative Cave, but most of that is the same group and members as CU.
Was on DU's red headed stepchild Discussionist until Skinner closed that one down.
So you guys are stuck with me.We are so fucked.

I thought you were on another forum before this one which was at least mixed. Or am I confusing you with someone else? I'm pretty sure Frostbit invited me.
I also used to hang out on the Salt Lake Tribune bulletin board. THAT was an education."Since the historic ruling, the Lovings have become icons for equality. I honestly don't remember. I know Celeste, who had another name on the SPiT, and Nova were there. Celeste invited me here after NU disappeared abruptly. I really don't remember how I got to NU.How did you get from st. Pete’s to NU?If it pays, it stays

Nope.Originally posted by Frostbit View PostWas Scott on the SPiT? Maybe he was the link.
Someone else got you, Celeste, and Nova here. It might have been Nova on CU who then branched over to NU (CU was always cordial with CU)."Faith is nothing but a firm assent of the mind : which, if it be regulated, as is our duty, cannot be afforded to anything but upon good reason, and so cannot be opposite to it."

The common ground here is fascinating. I too was at NU; don't remember how I was introduced. I was on Democrat Underground (probably still a member), tried some others. After NU vanished I went to Democracy Forums, but eventually that went to the dogs.- "I'm a hell of a lot smarter than most of you guys." — Joe Biden, at Jesse Jackson's funeral, March 2026.
- "That's all I do in my life. I make deals. I'm really good at it." — President Donald Trump, Oct. 13, 2025.
- “Inside every progressive is a totalitarian screaming to get out,” — David Horowitz.
- "We [Democrats] are all willing to work with anyone who is serious about doing the work of censoring the American people, and advancing progress." — Ayanna Pressley, explaining progressives.
- "Florida is where Woke goes to die." — Ron DeSantis.
- "No one is above the law, and everyone has the right to a trial to prove innocence." — Nancy Pelosi, explaining Lawfare.
- “Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety”— Ben Franklin, who got it right.
- "The way I see it, there's always, c'mon, there's always money. It's there." — Elizabeth Warren, explaining socialism.
- "The interesting thing about the Green New Deal is it wasn't originally a climate thing at all.... We really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing." — Saikat Chakrabarti, then AOC's Chief of Staff.
