Are you smarter than an atheist?

While looking at polling data for another thread, I came across this quiz from the Christian Science Monitor. It's 32 quick and easy religious questions. They say that atheists and agnostics actually got more of these questions than other religious people. How do you compare?

I got 81%, which was below the average of 84%.

Get the 4 gospels order wrong. John, Paul, George and Ringo was not an option, so I took a guess and it was the wrong one.
      We are so fucked.

Also 97%, because I gave the post-1999 answer. Mine was correct NOW. They didn't say, "Traditionally...."

Got the question about shiva, vishnu, Hindu wrong...should have looked at the words longer to make a better guess.
May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

I have used my superior guessing skills on many quizzes to good effect but none were needed here for me. I study the Bible and I have taken comparative religion courses in college and continue to read about many religions even now.

Now being an excellent adherent to my own faith always, not so much.

                    I do try, though.

I don't study the Bible. I only guessed on 1…the one I got wrong. Although, in truth, I only found out about transubstantiation while in college….from a Protestant…I was like "whaaat??"

Well, you are widely read and most people aren't and those who are often skip anything that smacks of the Holy (in any religion).

                        More's the pity.

I thought the bible questions were easy...just not up on everything about Hinduism. And...well...I think I'm okay with missing one.
