    Trump 45

    That didn't take long.

Cabot Guns has a reputation for creating one-of-a-kind series of 1911 pistols with some jaw-dropping price tags, like this pair called the the Big Bang Pistol Set, as they’re made from a meteorite and are worth about $4.5 million—or this $35,000 handgun with grips made from a wooly mammoth tooth.
Now Cabot has gone with something more current, building a commemorative 1911 pistol that pays tribute to Donald Trump’s presidential election win.
“Merry Christmas!! We have much to be grateful for indeed. #Trump45 #PresidentElect45,” the company posted on social media Monday with the above image of a golden GI longslide 1911 with “TRUMP 45” etched into the highly polished slide.
The frame and slide are both gold-colored, and are assumedly plated. The company hasn’t released any more information on the pistol and it doesn’t appear on their website.

They shoulda took the sights off, because it's strictly for shooting from the hip.
    Enjoy.

"Only a pimp from a cheap New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl-handled pistol."

I have to wonder what ol' George would have said about this.

But it seems fitting: outrageously ostentatious and ludicrously gaudy.

I think it is a photoshop. The fonts.

Also, this brings up something interesting. Trump is sort of a brand, isn't it? Kind of like Disney in a way which is used to generate income. Now that he is president, can "Trump" be used in the same way as "Obama" or any other public figure? Can we start making "Trump" merch?

I really want to make Trump Hair for Halloween.

Re-reading, I think you're right. I mistakenly though that they were referring to the pictured gun as having grips made from wooly mammoth (not exactly a renewable resource there), but it's not: in the article, it's a link to a different gun.

            LINK

Though technically not a renewable resource, Mammoth tusks do pop us with some regularity from river banks and shoreline erosion in Alaska. I used to hire n air taxi to drop us off at Cape Constantine and beach comb for a long weekend. Mostly only found numerous Japanese glass net floats but a friend found an intact Mammoth molar.

OK, that was funny, if ungrammatical.
"Since the historic ruling, the Lovings have become icons for equality. Mildred released a statement on the 40th anniversary of the ruling in 2007: 'I am proud that Richard’s and my name is on a court case that can help reinforce the love, the commitment, the fairness, and the family that so many people, Black or white, young or old, gay or straight, seek in life. I support the freedom to marry for all. That’s what Loving, and loving, are all about.'." - Mildred Loving (Loving v. Virginia)
