Doesn't matter. Their intentions were pure, unlike those evil conservatives.
It's been ten years since that lonely day I left you
In the morning rain, smoking gun in hand
Ten lonely years but how my heart, it still remembers
Pray for me, momma, I'm a gypsy now

I keep forgetting that in the mind of this leftist any activity meant to promulgate more government dependence while talking about increasing electric cars and abortions are considered social organizations.

Why are you ignoring the political activity of the NE Tarrant Tea Party? Make your case about some left leaning (whatever that means today) group that had no investigation of its political activities. I will check it out.

Your problems with the law don't justify the unequal enforcement of it.

But go ahead and claim that there is no reason to investigate a charity named after a politician. Retroactive tax-exempt status too.

Then there's this, a group that got a fast approval when it changed it's name to sound liberal:

Is it political? Here's its website.
            The Foundation's guiding principle:

The common denominator in all that the Foundation undertakes is the inherent belief that no man can truly enjoy the riches he has reaped if his neighbor suffers. The Foundation will seek to help those – worldwide – who still do not have the basic necessities of life such as food, water and shelter. In short, we seek to elevate the human condition so that everyone can live in dignity and truly enjoy having one another as neighbors. The foundation is entirely the idea of Abon'go Malik Obama, in memory of their father, and is not dependent on the endorsement of his brother, President Barack Obama.

Greenhouse Solutions sounds liberal (whatever that means today ... apparently, growing plants is liberal) to you? And Media Trackers doesn't?

            You are grasping.

Now tell me about the NE Tarrant Tea Party and whether or not you think they are political.

Building latrines in Kenya might be liberal, but I don't see how it's political.

Great. So fraud works. They didn't change their name, they used an existing organization that already had tax-free status, and then made their org a subsidiary of it.

The reason for the difference in timing could have nothing to do with the group's name. Greenhouse Solutions was applying for "permanent" nonprofit status after existing as a nonprofit group for some time. Media Trackers, a new group, was just beginning the first steps in the application process. Having a previous file with the IRS could very well have been the reason Greenhouse's application was approved so quickly.
              Enjoy.

By the way, Media Trackers is very much a political entity, founded and funded by political operatives for political purposes, and they should not have 501(c)3 status.
                Enjoy.

                    Don't know and don't care.

Why does Media Matters have exemption? Why does Organizing for America have it? Why does PPACA?

That's the issue, unequal treatment under the law.

No matter how many Porsches speeding by you point out to the officer, you are still getting a ticket.

But the ticket won't be upheld if you can show the officer only stops the drivers that are black.

But if they are all driven by donors to the Policeman's ball, he's getting sanctioned.

If I'm not speeding and black, he's getting sued for harassment. But please, keep supporting separate standards based on political ideology.

You would have a point if all the investigations were of conservative political groups. They weren't. You would also have a point if conservative political groups trying to pass themselves off as little leagues made up only 12% of political groups trying to pass themselves off as little leagues. They don't.
