May we raise children who love the unloved things - the dandelion, the worm, the spiderlings.
Children who sense the rose needs the thorn and run into rainswept days the same way they turn towards the sun...
And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

Why three links about the same interview?
Here. Cosmo asked her about it. Even though her father isn't running.
And you are right. I don't really pay attention to things designed to appeal to prurient interests when it comes to politics.“One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.”

So you wouldn't discount the source.Originally posted by Billy Jingo View PostWhy three links about the same interview?
So the meme seems to be true.
Unless it's guns you mean. Or Trump. Or "Binders full of women." Or Republicans. Or Fox News. Or.....Originally posted by Billy Jingo View PostAnd you are right. I don't really pay attention to things designed to appeal to prurient interests when it comes to politics.

Ah. Not an attempt to make it look like it "reporters" instead of "reporter."Originally posted by scott View PostSo you wouldn't discount the source.
Having someone ask Chelsea about her dad (who isn't running) is the opposite of the meme.So the meme seems to be true.
You might want to look up the word "prurient."Unless it's guns you mean. Or Trump. Or "Binders full of women." Or Republicans. Or Fox News. Or.....
And again, I am not the liberal you are looking for. I never said anything about Romney and the binders thing other than questioning why people were making a big deal out of it.“One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.”

My first example:Originally posted by Billy Jingo View PostYou might want to look up the word "prurient."
181860_600.jpg
That's a caricature of Roger Ailes squeezing Gretchen Carlson's ass. That's not prurient?
Example 2:
bo160615.jpg
That depicts a man kissing a gun, furthering the "gun fetish" you so often use as a smear. Isn't sexualizing a man and a gun prurient?
Example 3:
ColeJ20160329_low.jpg
One man peering at another man's genitals in a restroom. Yes, that is also prurient.
Maybe you should look up the word."Faith is nothing but a firm assent of the mind : which, if it be regulated, as is our duty, cannot be afforded to anything but upon good reason, and so cannot be opposite to it."

I will give you the first one but I didn't really notice that aspect of it. I was laughing more at the Fox feeding the kook thing giving voice to the weirdos in the Republican Party. The stupidity of the idea that the president is causing racial divisions is breathtaking.
The second one? No.
Third one? No.
Neither are prurient. Not even close. You had to really stretch for that.Last edited by Billy Jingo; Thursday, July 21, 2016, 1:10 PM.“One day, when it's safe, when there's no personal downside to calling a thing what it is, when it's too late to hold anyone accountable, everyone will have always been against this.”
