    Texas flips blue

A very unexpected development, Texas has flipped blue.

Abbott lost based on high property taxes and Gina Hinojosa's effective campaign to lower property taxes. But the Texas legislature and Governor don't set property tax rates in Texas, that's set by the cities, counties, and school districts. Also, how is she going to expand her government programs by lowering taxes?

    She can't and she won't.

Talarico is a strange situation, he's a lightweight who will only have the power to vote along with Democrats in the Senate. None of that helps Texans at all.

Most of this is fueled by the MASSIVE growth of Texas cities and cities trend blue all across the country. I wonder how this is going to play out, will they FAFO?
