Seriously? It is his quote. He is your guy. That is who he is.

Fine. No Cheeto Jesus and no President Pussygrabber. I have to be perfect while Wolfpack Asshole (can I say that, even?) does their thing.

Yep. I'm not as offended by that word as you are. I guess I just was so used to my male friends calling each other that in college that I became immune. But, there was that one day when they didn't want to do something I wanted to do (ok...it was go to the bar in the middle of the day...they said they had to study) and I turned and called them all that. They were shocked! It was kind of funny, really. You would have thought their nun mothers had yelled it out in the middle of Mass.

Scott's right. This is more about her being a Republican. Anything goes. Insult her for being an immigrant. Insult the ten year old son for acting sleepy at three in the morning on election night. Just insult.

Why can't the world just get along? Are we going to destroy ourselves this time?

To be honest, I don't know of anybody (including the women in my Bible Study) who have not used crude language to describe the behavior of the opposite sex in a private conversation. Whether out of amusement, anger, or bafflement this is normal human behavior.

Now, none of them nor me would do that before a crowd.

If my every private conversational observation was held up to a spotlight and analyzed, I'd be screwed.

I've said sarcastic/humorous/salacious things about men, other women, old people, entertainers, politicians, clergy, dogs, various bosses, relatives, strangers, poor people.....well, the list is endless really.

I have not stood in front of a crowd as a speaker and used crude language to denigrate both a specific man and vast anonymous groups of men and women as was done on Saturday by many women. That I have not done nor ever would.

The difference here is that I have made off-color remarks but I would never do so knowingly in public and I never made a hiring decision on any off-color joke or remark I ever heard or made.

It looks like the Judd/Madonna coalition actually would make hiring decisions based on their reflexive off-color observations.

                      That's a big difference.
