    Why?
    The year's at the spring
    And day's at the morn;
    Morning's at seven;
    The hill-side's dew-pearled;
    The lark's on the wing;
    The snail's on the thorn:
    God's in his heaven—
    All's right with the world!

        It's so surreal that people who have never risked their lives to save anyone (much less Iraqi Muslims) like to tut-tut at those who actually did.

          I think it's a comment about Trump's attitude towards Muslims. Trump is the tut-tut target.

          Did he risk his life in a situation that I am unaware of? Military school doesn't count.

            Bok never criticizes politicians, they are the vehicles for his sneering at people he knows and hates.

              I don't know that I would say he hates us, I would say that he has contempt for us.

                Trump has never risked his life for anybody. He talked about how he'd like to have a purple heart because that would have been simpler.

                Just because you all voted for the man doesn't mean you have to keep defending him when he turns into a monster. He's keeping people who have visas and green cards from reuniting for their family. They're legal.

                  Verify your information. 170 green card holders were stopped, went through secondary screening and were admitted to the country. You do realize the list of countries were chosen by the Obama administration right?

                        Yup!! A 90 day hold on visa's until a more stringent vetting process is in place is just fine thank you.

                        I've been detained in both Mexico and the United Arab Emirates. In the UAE it was because I was traveling with weapons and stayed in country for three days. I knew it would happen. The detention was for their secondary screening system to run it's course. In Mexico I was traveling with an extra suitcase full of out dated medical supplies I was carrying to an EMS unit near Cabo. I conceded to carry them because I was headed there for vacation. The fire captain that was supposed to meet me at the airport got the times wrong and was not there. Joyce and I both were detained for five hours until the captain showed up. I got awarded a T-shirt out of the mess.

                        Many countries have far tougher laws for visa and immigration than we do. It's time to realize that.

                          This graphic is from 2015. It took 2 years or more for a refugee to get through the process. They have since added specific checks on social media and internet history.

                          What did you think is missing to make the process more stringent?

                            Don't be an ass. It WAS true, whether due to overzealous execution as Trump implied or not. He backed off and the legal resident aliens were readmitted.
