4 times she has now stated that she would be the first woman President. Total shift from her last run when she really held off on playing that card. #lessons learned from 1st black President

With the polls already warning that she may be too far left for the general election she may be pulling a Jimmy Carter 1980. With the party bosses having veto power over the nomination she needs to keep her eye on the general election. If the general election were held today even an R dream team could not do serious damage to the blue wall but if she keeps going further left to win primaries in states she can't lose in the general election she may hand the presidency to the Rs and lose marginal D seats in both houses.

Do you think it will sway voters?

When she was pressed by Cooper on what ab out her presidency would be different than Obama's, she said she was female.

He pressed further, saying he was talking about policy. She said she would do more, and by the way, did you notice that she was female.

          I don't think it works.

Jim Webb distinguished himself as someone who actually could win a general election and run the country well.

Too bad the Democrats have gone over the socialist cliff.

A couple of months ago, the (female) presiding ALJ for the County of San Francisco spoke at the retirement dinner for the only male judge in that county office. She ended her laudatory speech about how much he would be missed with this caution: However, for those of you who think the San Francisco Board is losing its only pair of testicles...THINK AGAIN.

Democrats want him off the stage but I think he would be a huge asset for the ticket.

And when they're grown and someone has to speak for those who have no voice,
may they draw upon that wilder bond, those days of tending tender things and be the one.

You notice how they totally brushed by his opposition to the Iran nuclear deal? That was odd. I wanted to hear what he had to say about it.

Opposition to the invasion and occupation of Iraq, opposition to the anti-autocratic revolution in the Middle East, and opposition to the Iran deal. That's worth exploring. That defies tribal politics.

But this was all Bern v Clinton. Actual debate was not desired.

Not watching tonight (I just got home from work and I have a nasty cold. I can't take being buried horseshit as well.) But from what I've read, you're right about Webb. And I don't know. Massachusetts and metropolitan California are the whole Democratic party.I was in a CCW class last week with a whole bunch of suburban CA Democrats who can't stand DiFi and Kamala Harris. They looked like potential Webb voters to me.

ETA: meant to say "are NOT the whole Democratic party."

That comment indicates what most Democrats deny, that they have moved very far to the left. Webb has never been a Republican. He endorsed Bob Kerrey in 1992, campaigned for Robb in 1994, and defeated George Allen in 2006.

                                I completely agree.

The search is always on for gaffs and daggers. I think her "No." was sort of a Donald Trump moment to the Democratic faithful. I heard no gaffs, but for her Kerryesque "I didn't make up my mind about Keystone until I made up my mind...." (Or is that the ghost of Yogi Berra speaking?)

A show like this is about style and impressions. She was unflapped. They all rallied about dismissing concerns about scandal.

Bernie may have excited his base, but Hillary asserted her dominance.
