Mark put up the original clip without comment so I do not want to speak for him on why he chose the only clip showing an embarrasing portion of the course for the only women's team registered for the competition. I simply put up a longer clip showing many things they did well.

The reference to hang time was how long the women held onto the handles over water before dropping. Joyce and I recently finish a competition that included dead hang time from a pull up bar. Against five other couples all in the fifties we placed third. I admire how long the swat ladies hung in the first clip.

You could be right. I think SWAT teams pretty much live together. In certain cultures, that would be a problem.

Nonetheless, a better approach would be to assemble such teams by using the unique skills and advantages of individuals, without regard to irrelevant personal characteristics. I've heard that women, as a rule, make excellent snipers. Most, however, probably don't stand out at tasks requiring major upper body strength.

So now I'll respond, and Scott will have to step in to defend you, right? What it shows, dumb ass, is that there are some jobs that woman shouldn't be doing. And the only reason they are doing them is because woke people demand them to do so, and damn the consequences.

If they really need women to work like men, have them pour concrete or lay blocks.

Actually I think the "woke" answer to sexual disparities in physical labor is "pay equity."

That very bad idea has lain quietly for awhile, but then so did notions about "reparations" for slavery, after 9/11.

When you were in Chile you found the people to be 'woke"? I didn't. Most I saw and interacted with were simply trying to be hardworking family centered people. Did you bother to watch the other youtube clip I put up of the rest of the Chilean team's performance?

Before you circle your wagons and assume I'm here to defend Celeste, who does not need my defense, remember I still throw down at a competitive CF gym. We have two female fire fighters that occasionally train there. In Anchorage you do not get into the very difficult fire academy unless you pass the same psychological and physical testing which is rigorous. That statement does not mean women and men are physical equals. I know many women that can outfit men of their same age.

I know you are strong from construction as you have told us. Can you pull 210?

So in reality, you are a DEI supporter. It does not matter if you are qualified anymore. Unlike some here, I am a logical realist. Just because a few women can do something, does not mean that you open it up in the cause of diversity.
